The “piquillo Navarre” is a small red pepper grown in the Basque country, in the southern Pyrenees. Roasted and then carefully peeled by hand, the “piquillo” peppers are very fragrant and the taste is slightly hot as you finish eating it.
You will enjoy your “piquillo“ peppers fried with garlic in a drizzle of olive oil. When prepared in that way, they will enhance an omelet with potatoes or bring colour to your meats and fish.
